How
do I know I can trust you?
What are you going to do for me/us? (How is your business carried out?)
The Short Version: When a new client enrolls with us they receive a "Welcome"
e-mail. This includes a request for their credit reports (if we do not already have them), and we request two proofs of address
and one proof of SS# (the credit reporting agencies require it with everything we send them).
We also give them a detailed break down of our program and what they
can expect over the next several months. We also advise them of
important dates and give them our toll free phone numbers, address, e-mail
addresses, and website so they have access to us and to more helpful
information about credit. When we receive their credit reports,
address verification and
proof of SS#, we evaluation their over all credit situation and
make any suggestions necessary, we prepare documents to send to the credit
reporting agencies, creditors and public record holders, on their behalf. We cause the reporting agencies
to send each client new, updated reports approximately every 60 days.
The clients are then responsible to forward those reports to the home
office. We monitor the removal of negative items from their reports
and continue to legally dispute any negative information being
reported. If any accounts need to be disputed with a collections
agencies or the original credit grantor we prepare document, called
Lawful Notices, to
address them individually. We also contact the client if we feel a
settlement might be to their best interest. We continue to monitor
the clients credit reports for up to one full year.
How can you
get the Negatives to come off?
Let me
answer that question by first asking you a question. If
you needed to find a check you wrote 2 years ago, you
would probably have a difficult time finding proof of that check,
right? What if you wrote the check last week?
You probably would not have any trouble finding proof, right? This is the same situation your creditors
are in, once a closed debt is over a year old it is archived
information. They most likely won't be able to locate proof of the
account or debt or wouldn’t really want to spend the time look.
Public Records
Information
Should I pay
off my Debts before cleaning up my reports?
Paying off a debt without making a "deal" with that creditor first, typically will not help your credit situation! In-fact, it could make it worse! The company will record the debt as “PAID IN SETTLEMENT” OR “PAID COLLECTIONS” and it will be there for seven more years. (Please contact us before considering paying any old debts.)
PAID BAD CREDIT IS STILL BAD CREDIT
It is Not good
credit once its paid
How will I
know when the Negatives come off my reports?
You, the
client will receive your updated reports each time we have completed a
deletion campaign, then you will forward them on to us.
Is it true
that if something was removed, it can then be put back on?
YES, BUT IT IS
VERY RARE…. NOT COMMON AT
ALL The
Reporting agencies are legally obligated to give you a 5 days notice before
placing something
back on their credit report, if this were to happen, you would
simply, contact us
and we would contact the Reporting Agencies about those accounts again.
I have heard
that if I don’t pay the debt, it can be put back on my Reports, Is this
true?
YES, that is
somewhat true, this is also rare, but with a collection account WE ALSO RECOMMENDED – PULLING YOUR OWN REPORTS A
COUPLE OF MONTHS BEFORE GOING TO MAKE A MAJOR PURCHASE JUST
TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CORRECT AND UP TO DATE!
